This brief catalogue was produced by the Galleria La Tartaruga in 1963. It includes brief excerpts of texts from: Frank O’Hara (in a 1955 review, reproduced in English); Palma Bucarelli (from the catalogue of Twombly’s first exhibition in Rome in 1958, reproduced in Italian); Emilio Villa (from a 1959 text, reproduced in Italian); Franco Marino (from a 1958 text, reproduced in Italian); Cesare Vivaldi (from a 1961 text, reproduced in Italian); Manfred de la Motte (from a 1961 text, reproduced in German); Gillo Dorfles (from a 1962 text, reproduced in Italian); and Pierre Restany (from a 1961 text, reproduced in French). These excerpts are interspersed with black and white reproductions of works from the exhibition. The end-matter includes a brief biography in Italian, with solo and group exhibitions until 1963.
