A playlist dedicated to Cy Twombly

The latest episode closing the first season of In Perspective is dedicated to Cy Twombly and the composer Morton Feldman, featuring a new podcast by the music journalist and radio host, Francesco Adinolfi, Morton Feldman. The Whisper of Notes.

On September 20, 2025, the GNAMC - Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea in Rome will inaugurate a gallery dedicated to Cy Twombly, featuring 12 works donated by the Cy Twombly Foundation, including a Picasso, together with the Foundation’s support for a renovated conservation laboratory and the launch of an international postgraduate program dedicated to the conservation of works on paper.

A new In Perspective episode dedicated to Cy Twombly Inscriptions (2022), a comprehensive publication by the art historian Thierry Greub, which collects in six volumes the literary inscriptions included in Cy Twombly's works.
The genesis of the publication will be the main topic of the next episode through the conversation between the author and Eleonora Di Erasmo, Managing Director of the Cy Twombly Foundation.

A special In Perspecitve episode dedicated to Cy Twombly and the French composer Pierre Henry featuring a podcast by the music journalist and radio host, Francesco Adinolfi, and the video performance of Le Voile d’Orphée (1953) on the loudspeaker orchestra of Pierre Henry/ Studio Son/Ré held at Fondazione Nicola Del Roscio in Rome on the occasion of the first edition of Un/veiled (2022).

The film documentary, directed by Andrea Bettinetti (Italy, 2018, 92', Good Day Films), is available to watch for forty-eight hours beginning on March 27th, 2025.
