The Cy Twombly Foundation is pleased to announce the launch of its new website featuring new contents that we hope will be of interest to you and others passionate about Cy Twombly and his work.

Newly developed is the section In Perspective, a journey through the eyes of musicians, poets, writers, visual artists, choreographers and filmmakers who have been inspired and influenced by Cy Twombly’s artistic research in their creative process and works. An inside view on the artist’s life and work through images, sounds and words.

The first episode will feature rare archival material kindly granted by the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Archives and a short film Cy Twombly: A Journey to Morocco, 1952–1953, directed by Andrea Bettinetti (Morocco, 2023, 13′, Good Day Films), on view on our website.

Cy Twombly: “White Zones”
Three–day conference at the University of Cologne

Organized by art historian Thierry Greub, the conference will see the gathering of art historians, curators, conservators, scholars and artists, from Europe and the United States, to explore “blind spots” in Twombly’s œuvre and to subject common narratives to a critical revision.
