New York, NY, February 23, 2026 – The Foundation for Contemporary Arts (FCA) announced the twenty-four artists who will receive the annual Grants to Artists awards, which recognize experimental artists working in Dance, Music/Sound, Performance Art/Theater, Poetry, and Visual Arts.
Financial support for the Grants to Artists awards stems from a growing community of artists joined by individuals and foundations that support FCA’s enduring mission—artists for artists. Ten Grants to Artists awards have been established in memory of artists, many of whom supported FCA during their lifetimes. These awards have been endowed or funded by each artist’s eponymous foundation, or by artists and like-minded individuals.
The Cy Twombly Foundation is pleased to join the Foundation for Contemporary Arts in announcing Harmony Holiday as the 2026 recipient of the Cy Twombly Award for Poetry.
This annual grant is supported by a multi-year gift from the Cy Twombly Foundation in memory of the artist, who was one of FCA's earliest supporters and who was influenced and inspired by poetry throughout his lifetime.
Since the inception of the Cy Twombly Award for Poetry in 2018, the following poets have been recipients of this award: Anne Boyer, Douglas Kearney, Julian Talamantez Brolaski, Willie Perdomo, Kay Ulanday Barrett, Kyle Dacuyan, A.J. Carruthers, and Khadijah Queen.
