In Perspective | Episode Three Un/veiled. Inside the creative process (after Cy Twombly)

The third episode presents a conversation between the musicologist Delia Casadei and Myra Melford which explores the origin and the development of the musician’s long-term project dedicated to Cy Twombly, An Extravagant Joy (for Cy Twombly) and the latest installment MYRA MELFORD’S SPLASH TRIO with Michael Formanek and Ches Smith, part of the second edition of the Un/veiled program.
The video of the full performance, which took place on May 30th, 2024 at Fondazione Nicola Del Roscio in Rome, will be part of the episode and available for fourty-eight hours beginning on September 16th, 2024.
On this occasion the Foundation will repropose the short film Cy Twombly: A Journey to Morocco, 1952–1953, directed by Andrea Bettinetti (Morocco, 2023, 13′, Good Day Film), on view on the website as part of the Episode One of In Perspective permanently.
